A few months ago I introduced window cleaning services in London and the Home Counties. A suitable large vehicle fitted with Ionic’s Pro 7 Reach and Wash system was purchased and a cleaning operative was trained atthe Window Cleaning Academy in Swindon.

The great thing is we can now offer window cleaning to all of our existing and potential clients (haven’t sent the emails out yet) thus adding more to our extensive portfolio of cleaning services.

Today I came upon a case where a client of ours had booked carpet cleaning. After we had removed the dirt from the carpet some old pet urine stains became visible after drying up.

Our client was not happy and demanded we changed her carpet as we had caused those stains.

I felt a bit dissappointed. It was smaller than last year’s and the fewer exhibitors did not have much to show. It took me a couple of hours to go through most stands. Last year I lost a whole day. Is it the credit crunch?

I thought it would be a nice idea to update the list of happy clients (well known brands ) on our website www.anyclean.co.uk. I haven’t done it for nearly 2 years and we have had some famous names using our services. Next thing in the webmaster’s diary which is actually…my diary  

My company has moved last week to new premises. Still in Dagenham, but twice the size of the previous office. Our new offices are 1,700 sq ft and have plenty of space. Our accounting manager, Dima, now has her own private do-not-disturb (:-)) office so…debtors beware!!!

We now have a dedicated visitors’ waiting area with comfortable armchairs, plasma TV (coming soon), coffee table etc. I am planning to install an amerivan billiard table in the waiting area in order to keep visitors entertained (not only visitors ).

I hope the new work environment will help our office girls increase those carpet cleaning and domestic cleaning bookings! In our new office we will be eating recession for breakfast!!!

Не знам как се отразява финансовата криза на останалите компании за почистване в Лондон, ама при нас някакъв особен спад на работата още не се е появил. Дано да не се появява такъв! Има си работа. Е, не е нещо супер силно ама пък не е и слабо. Да видим накъде ще потръгнат нещата.

Аз лично си мисля, че няма да има голяма рецесия, както твърдят всички вестници. Всеки се опитва да ни убеди, че бъдещето е мрачно, дълги години на криза, безпаричие и ужаси.

I love this carpet cleaning Plymouth chemical for its efficiency when removing greasy spots. It is one of Prochem’s most popular carpet spotter and I’ve used it for years.

Unfortunately, when I last ordered a box of Citrus Gel, most of it was either beyond its “use by” date or something has gone wrong in the manufacturing process. I believe it was the former. The gel, generally a very thick substance, now was in a liquid form and was lacking its usual effectiveness . Hmm… I thought it was just one bottle but it turned out to be the whole box. And you wouldn’t know until you’ve opened it. The problem was I had given all of it to my carpet cleaners and most of it had already been used when I found out about it. I didn’t complain to Prochem but mentioned it to my local supplier. He could not tell me much more than what I already knew. Next time I get bad stuff I’m sending it back to prochem.

Took delivery of my new Power Flite 600 psi carpet cleaning machine. One of my colleagues has tested the little monster and was surprised by the incredible results. The machine was lifting air so powerfully that the carpet nearly got removed from the floor…

On the very next day after the Velvet Revolver gig I visited the Carpex and Windex show at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry.

It was not as big as The Cleaning Show in Birmingham last year but was more specialized. Exactly what I need!

Placed an order for 2 new carpet cleaning machines and will booked a demo for another one next week. Great job at the exhibitions!

I noticed the Alltec guys had hired that bird with the plastic tits again.  Strange choice…
